I received my B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology at Binghamton University with a minor in Biological Anthropology in 2019. My undergraduate research included studying the genetic diversity of the Ticuna, an indigenous population in South America. My current work in the Chakravarti lab focuses on discerning factors that influence proper ENS development, including environmental stimulants such as retinoic acid on the transcriptional program of the ENS as well as temporal effects in postnatal development and maintenance.
